I have played so many car simulation games, but I think there could be some more out there, maybe even better. So, I want to ask you guys, what do you think is the best car driving simulator?
I'm talking about Car Driving, and not Car Racing.
NOTE: Sorry forgot to mention, I'm looking for vehicle simulators not only cars
EDIT: Is there any vehicle simulator where you can do EVERYTHING? With everything I mean everything... From toggling your car's lights to manage your car's engine.
The closest thing I can think of is Rigs of Rods. It doesn't simulate cars very well, but it is pretty good with larger vehicles (buses, trucks, etc.).
Euro Truck Simulator.
Big Rigs.
For road driving I don't think there are many simulators, the closest you will get are truck or bus simulators.
As for racing Live for Speed is by far the most realistic simulator.

Was just playing that x)
Oh and sorry I ment vehicles simulator not only cars ^^'
Test Drive unlimited would be my answer. Its a great game and a lot of fun. It does include races, but in the end, its what you are looking for. Trust me.

Played that already as well. :)
EDIT: It's the best car simulator in my opinion, but I made this thread cuz there might be ones out there with more feautures.
18 Wheels of steel(Pedal to the metal and up)
It's stunning, you could be at the farthest city from Mexico in Canada, and get to the Mexican border in 1 hour real time(depending on Traffic and cops)

This for Cars.

This for bigger vehicles like buses and trucks.
Farcry 2.:clint:
Motorm4x for 4WDs.
Screamer 4x4. Oh shit, you mean like driving around towns... Hmm.....Big Rigs Over the Road Racing :keke: just kidding haha.. Check out UAZ 4x4, that's Russian and it's offroading, but hell it looks fun and realistic. Have you tried google? :v:

Are you shitting me? TDU is nowhere near a simulator, not close at all.
Not saying it isn't enjoyable to speed at 200 mph on an MC12 and blowing past every cop on the island while doing 300ft long jumps, but it just isn't realistic.
For driving sims, only bigger vehicles go into the picture, for cars, you have to stick with racing, and in that genre, you have rFactor, GTR2, Live for Speed, GTREvo, Race On...
I've tried Car Simulator 2009 but it sucks.
I would say GRiD, but some people might complain and say it's too arcade-y. It's still an excellent race simulator, nevertheless.
Edit:
Oh, he wanted a car driving simulator.
Erm... Rigs of Rods is pretty close, but the game feels so unfinished. But it's worth a shot, and it's what you are looking for. Give it a shot.
fine, although its only for cars i think.

Its funny cause my school uses this for kids doing Drivers Ed.
Don't forget Midtown Madness!
:smug:
Live For Speed, most definitely.
You still have to take driver's ed
Desert bus.
GTR2, sure the graphics aren't great but it's not the point of the simulator

Grid is not a simulator in any sense of the word.
OP you are looking for rFactor or live for speed.
Blast Corps.

This
Big Rigs.
Definitely Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing. It is amazing.
I'm kinda interrested in this too, just for the fun of it.
I've found it pretty fun to do in Street legal racing redline, but it got boring after a while because I kept tuning the cars to the extremes and the town wasn't that big. :(

GRID is not a simulator, no if's, no but's, it just fucking isn't.

If anything, real life DOESN'T run on Windows BY ANY CHANCE.
