I found this neat little app for iOS the other day. It's called Battleship Craft and it's fucking hilarious. The premise is simple: build warships and fight other warships. If you have an iDevice, don't pass this up just because it's a mobile app.

The app is free, so if you've got a device that supports it you should be all over this. Also, it was made by the same team who made OE-Cake! back in the day. I'm posting this here so we can organize some FP tournaments because the battles are pretty fun, but most of the players you get paired with online are either really bad or have huge floating fortresses; either way it's no fun to play against them. If we organized tournaments with some set rules and themes, it'd be much more interesting. There's a small learning curve, and the interface is a little tough to get used to, but once you work through it building ships is a breeze. You have to fight (there are AI matches that have fat paychecks) to get better armaments and armor, but most hull pieces are free, and you can strip down any ships you've built for parts to reuse.

This was my first ship. It's evolved into a rather effective gunboat over time. At one point it was a trimaran, but I shaved off the extra hulls for speed.

Once you've installed the game: in the editor, tap the gear in the top right, then pick code. Enter "jmsdf" to get a free ship with some good gear you can strip off and reuse. You can only enter the code once. but if you set your phone's language to Japanese after doing it in English, you can enter it one more time and get the ship again.
This OP sucks. If this catches on and anyone wants to write a better OP, I'll replace mine with theirs.

Never knew about that code, going to have to use that sometime.
Shame I spent weeks grinding to get one if the big skeltons and the really big cannons. This game is a great timewaster.
I have this, I love it.
My ship keeps getting partially sunk, but Ive sunk many ships with just my rear turrets sticking out of the water. The physics are so much fun.
I love nearly sinking, going all the way back wards and fly out of the water.
Damn, I want a PC port.
