• Worth getting back into?

Haven't played for about a year, and wanting to get back into the game. And I'm still deciding whether or not to restart my account or wait for cataclysm to come out. So right now is the game still worth getting back into or should I just wait?
Personally I'd say wait till cata as it will make levelling a much more enjoyable experience (Hopefully)
in my opinion the only time WoW was worth playing was at 60 cap.. they have ruined the simplicity and goodness of the game.
Simplicity? It's pretty damn simple now a days.
you are not getting what i'm trying to say.. there was a simplicity level to the game that made it enjoyable.. the fact that now you can just sit inside a cue for a battle ground in your own base without ever having to see the opposite faction is pretty lame.. and there are about 100 other things i could type out to explain how different the game is but it's not worth the effort. i simply don't care for the game in its state right now.
The phrase you are looking for is "They made the game way more casual"
I preferred BC over Vanilla

Did you ever actually play Vanilla? You are speaking as though you have not.
Wait until Cataclysm comes out. I know when it does I'll be back on it starting as a Worgen Mage or Warrior.

I'd wait for cataclysm tbh

Hmm it depends really. You have to consider, is there a better use of your time? I wouldn't worry too much about waiting for Cataclysm, but if you've already played through Wrath then yeah, you might want to wait. I have to admit though, the addition of the dungeon finder definitely got me more interested in the game.
Eh, I got back into it for the sake of leveling to 80 on an alt but I got sucked into it, I'm going to be doing some hardcore raiding/PvPing.
I got back into it and started to gear up my druid as Feral DPS/Resto (my previous main was a mage, I wanted a different playing style) and i find it fun. The main reason I got back into the game was to experience as much of WOTLK before cata comes out, if you don't care too much about missing all the raids and whatnot of WOTLK I suggest waiting until cata.
There's one thread on this every week, pay for a month if you don't like it then don't get back into it.
Wait until cataclysm. That'll tide you over for a long time.
Any good realm that isn't full of assholes and dumb kids? It's the reason I quit.
