You know what I'd like to see in a game, just once? - Games

An NPC reacting to the player's death. I mean, wouldn't it be cool if, in Half Life 2, Alyx shouted "Gordon!" after you died? I can recall one game (I think it was the first Half Life, where if a zombie killed you, they could be seen eating your corpse. Who else'd like to see this?

Well there is in Half-Life 2, if you die in a certain part, a member of the resistance will say 'Dibs on the suit' and other comments like that.

Everywhere. Automerge mixup.

GTA IV. The cops shoot at your corpse.

I haven't played Halo 3, but that's cool. I DO remember that Half-Life 2 thing, now that you mention it.

in ArmA 2, they say "FUCK one IS down, I am the new actual"

MGS4, everytime you die, OTACON screams like a girl!

Alyx does yell Gordon! when you die. Killing Floor the zombies eat your body when you die. It's not anything special.

Snake? SNAKE? SNAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAKE!

In bad company your squad goes "Fuck they got Preston" if you die.

In Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath if an enemy kills you they will run up to your body and kick and stomp it.

Don't most FPS games now usually have your teammates/squadmates calling out that you're hit/dead?

Even in MW2 you can sometimes hear "ROACH IS DOWN!" etc.

In the uncharted series you always hear whatever companion you're with screaming when you die NAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATE

Rainbow series had this since the start if I remember right.

Resident Evil 2. Screen fades to black with zombies nom'ing on your intestines.

In the Brothers In Arms series, your squad members regularly call out to tell you to get in cover or some-such and sometimes call out when you die.
