I've had this old 2d game stuck in my head and I really want to play it again but I can't remember the name and Googling the various features of it have offered no results. Its a 2d stratagey game based around fluid dynamics. It has multiplayer vs AI or other players also on the same computer or on LAN. Its similar to the games like Ichor and Plasma Pong. In it you controlled like a little dot army that followed fluid dynamics and you could engulf other enemy armies by surrounding them. Its also freeware I'm pretty sure. If you know what game I'm talking about let me know. Edit: Game found, it was called Liquid War. Heres a link to a youtube video of it. Bump, still have no idea what this game's name is.
This has my interest.
I remember this being one of the featured games on Newgrounds... but its name has also escaped me :C

It was called swarm I think.
The game is called Pixel Legions, search it on epic ninja.
It isn't a flash game, its a fully released game. Its kind of old though. Edit: After looking at Pixel Legions its very similar to that except you didn't have a base per se, just a starting area where your army started growing. In the game I'm thinking of as the game went on you would end up covering the entire playing area and had to watch for the various choke points if your enemy was pushing n stuff. Its a very addictive game. I really wish I could remember its name. Also rather than have little squads of dots, you just controlled your army en masse and had them push into points. The person that had the best position would end up engulfing the smaller and take over that area. Edit 2: It also might not be fluid dynamics but rather particle systems. I'm not too sure what its categorized as but you do control your army of dots in a fluid like way. If that helps any. Edit 3: Haha! My friend managed to find it through some clever searching. Took like 30 minutes. Heres a link to a youtube video of it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QztlQ1e4oz8
