I don't often buy games any more, much less games that cost more than £10, but Frozen Synapse has stuck out. A turn based multiplayer (and single player, but playing games like this against AI is no fun) tactical strategy shooter, something along the lines of "planning stage from Rainbow six if it was a game"

Appox recommended this game on the GMF, and about three or four of us have it now, so jump on and give it a shot!
It's about £17, but for that you actually get two copies of the game; one for yourself and a free key to give out (or split the price with a mate)
So yeah, check it out. Worth a flutter.

Anyone kind enough to split the game with me? Been watching this game for a while and it looks amazing.
Game is really good. It has ingame IRC so you can literally chat to the Dev's most of the time if you have any questions or suggestions.
At the moment most of the matches take place on quite a small map, between 2 players. Hopefully soon they'll add big maps with multiple teams, which would be kind of nuts.
It looks fun, but not fleshed out enough to be worth $25
$25 for that? Are you fucking kidding me? It looks like a flash game.
The price is pretty steep yeah. If you chip in with a mate it's half price though.

Interesting development; One should consider though that if you split with a friend this game costs about as much as four pints, even less at more expensive jaunts.

In looks only. FS is more of a 'fast-paced' action oriented game with brutal precision violence while Subversion is more of a puzzle game where you try to take things slow and stealthy.
