What the hell is this? All the games that I want to buy are all scheduled for sometime early 2010, right after Christmas!
Mass Effect 2 - January 26th 2010
Bioshock 2 - February 9th 2010
Starcraft II - Sometime 2010
Diablo III - God knows when
Like why not target your games for a christmas release? This is like the only christmas I don't know what freaking game to get. Stupid bigot game companies...
Rate boxes or agrees if your as pissed as me and agree this lack of games is dumb.
So you would rather have them rush the game and end up with an unfinished product?

Well I don't know about the games in the OP, but a lot of games like US version of Bayonetta were delayed until after Christmas to not try to compete with Modern Warfare 2.
We had more than enough releases last Christmas. I'm sure next year they'll be plenty.

No, I would rather they release their games in reasonable amounts of time. I happen to know a great deal about how large game companies operate in their development schedule. That knowledge includes how much time is actually wasted in their final "wrapup" moments which I won't get into the particulars unless you want me to. Sometimes, companies will actually delay a game a few months to avoid competition, sometimes its a good idea usually its just paranoia.
And, [b]hello[/b], mass effect 2 being release [b]in january[/b]?! Am I the only one who thinks they should've pushed for a before christmas deadline? Am I the only one who is sane? Those 3 weeks they probably found 1 minor bug that like 3 people would care about.

Was very cinematic, with an amazing story. Some rare, frustrating parts that still aren't nearly as bad as any past Silent Hill game. It isn't very scary, but it retains what people really cherish about the series, which is a deep, symbolic plot. It's got very good graphics, period, regardless of it being on the Wii.

I apprechiate your contribution, but dude... it's on the Wii... it [b]has to have bad graphics[/b] compared to any game on the 360.
I mean it could have a good [b]art style[/b] but the graphics are below industry standard. I swear I would love the Wii if the damn specs weren't so terrible. Damn you Nintendo! You blew it! (in my opinion of course they still have nice unit sales so eh)
The reason for the lack of releases this holiday are one thing: Modern Warfare 2. A lot of companies around the end of the summer got very intimidated by it and pushed all of their stuff back to the first few months of 2010. This time is also the last fiscal quarter, so it's not a terrible time to make big releases and try to beat your ending numbers. Thing is...[I]everyone[/I] started pushing their releases back to this time, and now it's fucking packed.
So it seems we're going to have an awesome explosion of releases in 2010. Should be good.

I go back and play games like Warcraft 2, Diablo 2 and Doom. Just because their -fun- You should worry about the gameplay, Then the graphics.

This is actually my theory as well, and this is why I'm pissed. Pissed [b]mostly[/b] because of the MW2 shit considering MW2 wasn't that great of a release.

My head is out of my arse and the graphics still are pretty shitty, can I put it back now, it smells funny.
Judging from what I saw in the previews for Darkside Chronicles, wii is capable of some semi-decent graphics. Sadly, the console as a whole is just a gimmick for motion sensor games, so nobody really tries to make the games look good.
I also read that the new silent hill doesn't have combat, while this is an interesting concept, I wish the game was more readily available to other consoles/pc. For all we have is Homecoming...

Hmmm, well the main reason companies are waiting for a release is because they don't wanna succumb to the rush of having to put one out now. I would far rather wait a few months or even a year to play a great game, than to have a not so great game right now. Also, OP, if you expect genuine help, don't be an ass, and grow up.

It's not hard to understand the difference between trolling and offering your opinion.
The difference is, trolling is the offering of an opinion, out of the blue, that is extremely negative, and obviously intended to provoke a negative response. A troll comment is bad for discussion because it's sole intent is to make people angry and to stir up shit.
For example, you correcting a simple spelling error from a person (such as I) who has obviously made an honest mistake (considering I usually spell my words correctly).
