so.. i was bored and i played some GoW 2. amazing game. i can play it forever
after that i wanted to know some more about the origins of the Locust and about Adam Fenix.
so i go to [url]http://gearsofwar.wikia.com[/url] and look for some info
and i'm really surprised about the deep story
like i did not know that Adam Fenix had a plan to stop the war peacefully. but thanks to Marcus that plan is not going to happen... and that there is a big civil war between Lambent Locust and the normal Locust
but still.. most interesting parts ends out with 'rumors' and 'what we think'
even you don't know shit about Gears of War, or you own a PS3.
i tell you. take a look. the story can just drag you into it!

- Adam Fenix (father of Marcus Fenix) was the mayor of the CoG and was a ground soldier.
- Lightmass bomb awakes the Riftworm (giant worm that sinks city's around Jacinto )
- E-day fault was of the Lambent locust, the Locust had no option but to leave The Hollow and extend to the surface
- Adam Fenix lied about that he's mom left him, she was killed while getting Imulsion Crystals.
- Rumors go by that Marcus killed the brother of Dom.
- Locust Queen is a human! (yes!) so now even more rumors are going by that the Locust was made by humans!
- while Delta is in New Hope facility, they discovered there was a very likely Locust in development by the CoG scientists called The Sires, they like allot as a locust and where made a emergency plan if the humans would fail to destroy the Locust
- Cole Train is a famous Thrashball player and throughout his career as a Gear, he has rejected every military promotion that has been offered under the grounds that having rank is not going to affect how many Locust he can kill.

I'm sorry but your grammar is atrocious, also the information you have provided is disjointed and in any case can be easily found by fans of the game if they want to know about it.

But I just beat the game and I was surprised at how much I liked it.
I know he's still updating, but he's just listing random facts for no real reason, he's not providing any speculation or much of a reason for discussion...
Also I really enjoyed both of the Gears of War games, the part in number 2 was sorta tense at fist until me and my mate realized we can run through it together and just chainsaw them all to death, much easier and funnier :P

ah well, at least I agree that the story is kinda awesome. But 'tis a shame that I couldn't give less of a fuck about a story when a game gives me a gun with a chainsaw stuck on the end of it.

I never really cared more for story of this game. It's not a bad story, but i get to lost in the game-play and manly aspects to give a shit if the story was good or not.

Gears of War has one of the shittiest storylines I have ever seen, in anything. Ever.
The story is just, aliens wanna fuck some shit up, and the humans dont like that, so they fuck up alien shit, and they swear a fuckload, and blow shit up.

isn't that pretty much also the storyline of HL2 except with less swearing
on thread though, I wish GOW2 wouldn't keep randomly crashing at a certain point for me, I was actually liking the game :sigh:

I rented it, It`s not bad. it`s like a Micheal Bay movie. There is no plot. But shit blows up.

Secondly: You wouldn't call God of War, God. You would call Gears of War, Gears.
Thirdly: God of War came before Gears so that along with my other point are just enugu reason to call it by the correct abbreviations and such.
