So when I converted my map to the new format there was suddenly massive deposits of materials and I was wondering if anybody else has had this happen?

I'd be really happy if something like this happened to me.
I got this before, but it wasn't through the conversion. my .dat corrupted and i fixed it, i found more diamond to last me 8+ months. Even found a deposit of about 50 near the surface.

It is kinda nice but almost get annoying how much iron there is. Also I have found about 10 of those groups of diamonds.
i would have came over that amount of diamond in one spot. i barely find enough for one of each tool.
After you find that many diamonds in single player the game kind of loses its point.

You pretty much fucked up the whole point when you gave away that you were on a multiplayer server. You probably just worldedit'd the map so it would have diamonds everywhere.

No I never said I was on a multiplayer map. Number 2 I never did a map edit. What it was is that I had already had my mine and then after it converted there was iron and things next to my stairs and I started to find huge chucks of ores.

No I said having all that diamond would, because all I would do it make diamond things instead of actually nice looking thins. Also mostly this i the world I mess around in I have another vanilla game save but I opened this one up recently just to mess around again.

When you do a lot of mining like making underground buildings it is really convenient to have stacked diamond tools.
