So with the Steam update, you can install games on the new content system on other hard drives.
Does anyone know when Valve will be making it possible to do so with old Source engine games like HL2 or GMod. Space on my SSD is precious and I don't want to have to install 4 games for GMod, when I'll only be using GMod.
You could always use symlinks until they add it. There are lots of tools that let you do this, my favourite it gamesave manager since it's also very useful in backing up your saves for games that don't use Steam cloud. http://www.gamesave-manager.com/

I was thinking about symlinks, but I'll take a look at this program.
Thanks!

Actually, looking at this. Doesn't seem it will work for Source games, as they store all their content in GCFs, you can't move those with Steam Spreader, because it only works with folders.
