it was so obsessed with being a legitimate piece of "art" that it tried far to hard and fell flat on it's face

full of a bunch of metaphysical drivel so that the less inclined would go "wow that is so complex"
It's Inception in game format. Nice to look at, but not actually deep at all.

I'm glad to see it's finally appropriately priced. I wouldn't have paid 20 for this piece of shit.
No variation in gameplay. A huge amount of the game is just filler.
Characters I don't give two shits about.
And a story teeming with human waste.

There was no metaphysical anything in this game unless manifestation is a word you consider metaphysical. Nothing in the game was trying to show off as "wow that is so complex. It is nothing like Inception, at all. It was a really fun, pretty well made game with a really cool story and presentation.

Pull that metaphysical stick that's so deep out of your complex ass and quit over analyzing shit.

Also, why would you play Alan Wake, a game about a story being written from a writer in game that also prides it's self on it's script? What the fuck does "a story teeming with human waste." even mean?
