[b]Overview[/b]
The story of the game is simple you have to find a frozen bigfoot named Burno who escaped with Trixie the Giraffe-Necked Gir. In this game you control Sam a six-foot dog and a rabbit thing named Max. This game has minigames that may even be part of the game storyline. This game can only be launch on scummvm or a computer that is 10 years old. Sam and Max travel to different locations in the game using their black and white 1960 DeSoto Adventurer.
[b]Characters[/b]
Sam:
He is a 6 foot tall dog. He wears a blue suit and a fedora. He is also calm and rarely loses his temper and when he does Max calms him down. He is armed with a oversized .44 revolver and drives a DeSoto Adventurer.
Max:
Max is a rabbit thing that has white fur. Max always has a grin on and he enjoys violence and solves problems by the most aggressive action.
[b]Misc.[/b]
This game is part of Lucasarts adventure games that use the SCUMM Engine and it is also the 9th game using the SCUMM engine. Sam and Max appeared as characters to test the SCUMM engine. The game was released in both Floppy and CD the Floppy had no music or in-game speech while the CD version did. The game was designed so there is no dead-ends or death. Sam and Max comics appeared weekly in the Lucasart newsletter and was offered a game in 1992. Give it a shot as soon as you can, it's a classic. The newer ones are funny and all but they depend on alot of reference humor while almost everything in the original was... original. It had some razor sharp wit as well.
Fantastic game. Remember playing it back in -98, then replaying it in -00 -03 -08.
