I bought minecraft and it's been working fine for a decent amount of time, around a few weeks now. Today I attempted to log in and no matter what I try, I can not connect to minecraft.net. Does anyone know of any possible fix for this? Any help would be appreciated.

I had the same problem, so I tried using the old launcher and got in fine..
This problem had only occurred to me today also.

That wouldn't work, the login servers are separate from that server now.
