Sorry for the short topic -- Does anyone else remember this badass mother fucking game? MP servers have been down for years but I'm wondering if anyone here remembers it This was literally my second big game after I got into Tribes 2. I don't know why it didn't take off more. It goddamn rocked. If you lose the first CD you can't install second CD you can't play, fuck you goddamnit I got some searching to do
omg this game i still have the cd somewhere
This game is fucking awesome I used to play it all the time instead of AOE2
Yeah I used to love this game a lot back in the day, I think I still have a copy sitting around somewhere, didn't like Empire at War as much as these classics.
I still have my copy for this too, but it was actually pretty much AOE2 but replaced with starwars characters, lol.
Hell yeah I remember, it was one of the first RTS games I played. Plus there's something charming about a game where sending out units to kill animals and suck food out of their corpses with a vacuum cleaner is... Well, a thing.
looks like a more older version of empire at war that screenshot with the AT-AT's is making me pretty stiff down south if you know what im sayin though
it is not empire at war, like not in the slightest. it's like a star wars mod for age of empires. i think this was my second or third RTS one or both of the ones before it being AOE and AOE2 [editline]10th December 2012[/editline] it was for mac too.
Oh fuck this game was my childhood, I think I reinstalled it a while back [editline]9th December 2012[/editline] Anyone else have Clone Campaigns?

Holy shit I remembered loving this game at one of my first lan parties
hamachi, anyone? and does anyone remember how good the skirmish AI was for this game?
Got any XXXtreme coders that want to pull a Tribes:Next-esque thing for this? Get multiplayer going again? I know it's not as simple as that but with some time and effort I would play this thing day and goddamn night EDIT: I just realized how easy it is to import custom units and parameters into this game and even simply bitmapped map textures. This is really easy to mod.
I remember sitting in the editor making hundreds of maps in my spare time as a small child. Albeit they weren't very good I had loads of fun with them.
I remember I borrowed this game from my buddy back when I was 10 or something. I'd spend all day just fighting battles and creating maps. Fucking loved this game.
The online through MSN Zone used to be fucking incredible for this game. One of the first games I played consistently online
I feel like the only person who preferred this to Empire At War. So much fun with this game. Simon the fucking killer Ewok.
Oh god this game. I used to play this game religiously 6 or so years back. I play it occasionally and it's still a lot of fun.
I love this game. I used to build huge arenas in the editor where some droids had to fight a rancor and stuff like that. And once I created some sort of space map where you were playing Luke and you had to get from Tatooine to Coruscant while doing small missions on planets between them. Damn you Facepunch, gotta reinstall.
I remember making a map where I spawned a shitton of gundarks in a corner of the map and blew them all up with the Death Star. I also made a map where the empire had rounded all the wookies up in red dawn-esque camps and we had to go free them lmao
There was a rather amusing bug where if you had the music on while playing on a certain sound setup I used to have, after finishing a game of SWGB, the entirety of the sounds your PC produces would be low pitch. It was annoying and really bizarre. Also, 'simon says' spam just got ridiculously fun.
simonsays over and over and over
I only had the demo of this back when it was out, never got round to having the full thing :(
couldn't reinstall last night but i sure as fuckin hell am now. i bet this is going to be awesome. the problem i had with age of empires was more of a focus on melee soldiers.
I learned how to read just so I could play this game. I was in pre-school, heh.
This game was the shit, still got my Saga disk with the original and clone campaigns, I NEVER played the multiplayer against real people but always wanted to.
thatsnomoon
x100, fuck shit UP
I remember once I played on this giant forest map as the republic. I air dropped some workers into the middle of a big forest and made a secret army of a ton of Jedi masters
