Up until now we had vehicles like jeeps, airboats and jalopies. (Crane counts just barely)
We can be almost certain that Gordon is going to get some sweet-ass vehicle action in episode 3, the question is, how creative can Valve get with these?
Another "quite normal" car would be too repetitive, now would it? A little helicopter flying through narrow icewalls would be awesome, but we have never had flying in a half-life game. (Save for the Opposing Force intro)
My best guess would be a mech built by the resistance/combine with a super gravity gun implemented into the arms. (No, this did not come from me just having watched district 9 :3:)

the buggy wasn't an ordinary car, it was kind of self made and had the gauscannon, which isn't ordinary, too. Or do you see everywhere buggies with weapons attached?

Nothing changes about the helicopter. There is no animation sequence, and the advisors go over top of it and don't even hit it.
I remember it bending.

Im thinking about new mods with the new engine.
I want Episode Three to include at least a drivable helicopter so us machinima makers can go crazy

True, considering that if we got to drive a helicopter, we would have to drive it in first person.. because this is half-life we're talking about not halo.
Driving a helicopter in first person sounds kinda hard if the game isn't specifically meant to be a helicopter simulation.
Not to mention the way maps are made in source would make things like piloting helicopters highly unlikely.
