Since there's no thread on this that's still alive, here y'all go. All the Lore weapons/other stuff, new engine, Dark Messiah-ish first person animations, except EVERYTHING is first person, if you have it in first person mode, not starting in prison(or choice not to), not having to be the good guy, and places we've never been to (Skyrim, The Orc Place of Which I forgot, and Black Marsh, along with the chance of being drafted into the Dark Brotherhood if you have the Shadow birthsign and are Argonian).
Dark Messiah combat system, better voice acting, better character models, very easy modding system. [editline]03:01AM[/editline] Also, being able to traverse all the Elder Scrolls countries would be amazing, but I doubt that would happen.
Dark Messiah Combat would be awesome. The ability to forge your own weapons and such, I've always liked being able to do little things like that. more unique weapon varieties from the stock game, more monsters, more area to explore, flying mounts or levitation back, etc. and improved graphics. I know Oblivion is already awesome, but keep pushing the technology and make things look better. ...player owned/controlled ships.
Diagonal running animations
New animations.
Flying mounts yeaaaaa
AI which doesn't suck. If I kill a man (even while invisible), the person talking to him should not walk away casually.
Less retarded bump maps and cube maps/too fucking shiny sometimes.
Dismemberment. Hierarchy based Online. 128 man servers. Everyone starts as a Civvie. You need to do certain things to become a Guard, and once the quota is filled, no more guards. Kind of like Gmod RP servers but not shit.
Being able to attack whilst on horseback. [editline]08:29PM[/editline]
Hierarchy based Online. 128 man servers. Everyone starts as a Civvie. Dark Messiah-like combat would be great.
Better AI, that was pretty much the biggest flaw of Oblivion. [editline]09:35AM[/editline]
Dismemberment.
That's in Fallout 3 so I'm sure it will be in TESV
The closest TES can get to multiplayer is Co-Op, none of this bullshit.
Demon's Souls does that. TesV needs to do something fresh.
Better AI and actual animations, god awful in IV.
Being able to run & jump in 3rd person without making it look like my character has polio.
Explore the whole of Tamriel. Every single province; Elsweyr, Black Marsh, Hammerfell, Cyrodiil, Skyrim, you name it. And maybe some more Daedric quests...
morrowind world and storyline oblivion/dark messiah combat new engine
Open cities like in Morrowind. I would also like them to re-introduce the climb skill and put more stuff to explore and see. The dungeons in Oblivion were pretty bland, so that could be changed. I trust Bethesda will make the right design choices.
More: Deeper storyline for side quests and unmarked quests, and just other random role-playing opportunities, like bandit town raids, things like people going crazy, and more current diseases with more serious effects. THAT'S RIGHT I WANNA SEE AN IMPERIAL GUARD FALL OFF HIS HORSE AND HAVE A SEIZURE. Also realistic healing/damage modeling, like you can lose an arm, get a badass scar across your eye, causing blindness in that eye (which would make half the screen black), and more things to make your character actually unique, other than the fact that you can kill anything in one hit.
unreal engine 3
And I wanna be a bandit. We need more Factions. [editline]05:06AM[/editline]
unreal engine 3
Source, because Unreal physics just wouldn't seem right. I mean, the Dark Messiah ragdolls were some of the only ones done right. The Unreal ones just seem really, really unrealistic to me.
a new fucking engine god damn bethesda your oblivion/fallout engine sucks get rid of it
Although, Fallout was better than Oblivion with the ragdolls.
When you jump, I want to see your character jump. Not fall upwards. Magic and archery that actually does decent damage.
Bring back the fleshed-out weapon proficiencies eg: Long Blade, Short Blade, Axe, Blunt Weapons, Spear etc. [editline]04:33AM[/editline] Oh and for fucks sake give me Unarmored, clothes are useless in Oblivion
Source, because Unreal physics just wouldn't seem right. I mean, the Dark Messiah ragdolls were some of the only ones done right. The Unreal ones just seem really, really unrealistic to me.
hahahaah any ragdoll is a step up from GameByro, besides, PhysX is light years ahead of Source's version. And what the fuck, ragdolls aside, Source is nowhere, NOWHERE, near powerful enough to support games like Elder Scrolls. I mean, there's not even any streaming in the engine, you want to see LOADING every time you enter a cell?
get a badass scar across your eye, causing blindness in that eye (which would make half the screen black),
it's a good thing you're not a game developer then [editline]10:40AM[/editline] oh also Euphoria DMM PhysX
Nah, but Dark Messiah doesn't do that. [editline]05:43AM[/editline]
it's a good thing you're not a game developer then [editline]10:40AM[/editline] oh also Euphoria DMM PhysX
I'm more towards realism, but fine. Forget the blindness. But, what I had in mind, is you would get some sort of crude outline in blue against a black background, Which would eventually develop into something like Dare Devil, but better.
Dark Messiah combat system
Can someone post a link of that in action? I never played Dark Messiah and I want to figure out why everyone wants it's combat system.
unreal engine 3
What?
