Some Questions about Gmod 10

So I got Garrys Mod 10 a while back, and just this week I got about $40 to spend on games. I wanted to get some source engine games that would add spawnable models, objects, and NPCs into the game. I have also seen alot of videos on YouTube where people are spawning NPCs and Ragdolls and other objects from Left 4 Dead and Left 4 Dead 2. I checked the source list by going to Gmods page on Steam and clicking the link that leads to the list, and saw L4D and L4D2 in the Source list. However when I bought both of them they have added nothing to the game (However I have noticed since getting L4D2 that my Desert Eagle in Gmod has been spawning fewer Error messages when I fire it)
So What's the Deal???

ALSO does Counter Strike: Source ass any spawnable objects to the game? What about Half Life: Source?

Addons:

Can anyone lead me to a guide on how to install Addons (Where to extract the files to) that is mjore detailed than saying "Extract to /Addons Folder"

The L4D and L4D2 props, npcs and ragdolls are mods. They are not official.
Counter-Strike: Source has many spawnable objects and textures used very often in mapping.
Half-Life: Source also has a few objects and npcs.

Thanks, could I have some links to like a few packs (Several of the L4D and L4D2 NPCs and Ragdolls and other objects in a bundle maybe?) One that I could just extract to /addons.

And what kind of stuff comes with HL:Source and CSS? I mean like just some examples, which one is worth more? I am planning on getting one of them today but I cant decide.

Counter Strike Source ads a bunch of content. If you haven't already, buy the Orange Box, it's like 30 bucks or something. If you want to mount L4D props, you can either wait for the Gmod update later this month or you can get a mount addon.

You can install addons following this simple test: Is the addon a folder with a file labeled info.txt in it? If so, you can put the file in the SteamApps/<USERNAME>/garrysmod/garrysmod/addons folder and it will install automatically.

Lastly, you posted this in the wrong section. It should have been posted in the Gmod discussion section, but whatever.
