Neverwinter Nights is a good RPG. Might be too dice-rolly for you though, dunno.
Has fantastic story/gameplay, and almost infinite replayability. I would recommend the Diamond edition.
If you're planning on the second one, although I wouldn't warn you away from it, because it really is a good game, I personally preferred the first over the second.
