If same engine then yes, hitboxes are the same. I hope you do know how they work in BFBC2 that it's fixable instead of bandwagoning.
Vietnam was imo the best Battlefield ever. With a new engine, and the abilities of Bad Company, it's going to be über awesome.

God bless the soliders that served/dies in Vietnam but it wasn't the most epic war of all time.
The setting is all wrong, a war game (with guns) should be set in 1 of 3 time periods, WW2, modern day, or futuristic. I'm going to be trying it out anyway (because it battlefield series) but I'm a little dissapointed.

No one knows. They have literally revealed nothing about it apart from the fact that it's Vietnam and it comes out at the end of the year.
I would guess that they'll release both a boxed and downloadable version though.
