If you are thinking about starting to play World of Warcraft, the best thing to do is have somebody use "Recruit a Friend" on you, this gives bonuses to both the recruiter and the recruited.
The recruiter gets an ingame mount, and the recruited gets TRIPLE experience when near the recruiter... along with a few other little goodies this is quite a nice feature indeed.
If you have a real life friend or something, then ask them to recruit you obviously instead of me, but if none of your real life friends actually play then if you let me recruit you I will plenty of gold to get you started, as well as assist you with hard quests or instance runs.
Scratch my back and I'll scratch yours.. if you like.
Oh look, it's another one of THESE threads.
Uhh no?
It's a win-win situation though
Ugh... beggars
I fail to see how this is begging, I am offering my services on top of the benefits they will get from being recruited.
I really don't understand this unnecessary hatred.
You posted in the wrong section, about something everybody already knows, and are begging people to accept it.
Meh. Tryed the trial at one point, and it was crap.

Oh right, sorry. What thread should it be moved to? And begging seems a bit dramatic, it's not as if I'm saying "PLEEAAZSEAZ WILL YOU LINK WITH ME, I hAs NOTHING!", I said to pick their friends before me, I offered them some help as well, from where I am standing, I am doing the generous thing, not the recruited..

Please guys, I didn't make this thread to start an argument, keep it constructive![/U]

Yeah I had the same problem :\ Trial doesn't give a good taster of the game if I'm honest, it starts actually becoming interesting at top level, but they throw you in at level 1 with a maximum of 20 which I have never agreed with
I lost alot of friends when i played world of warcraft, so i quit it.
:colbert:
Wrong section thread is in the wrong section.
Only braindead peoples find this game fun anymore. It's ridicolously easy.

How did you manage that? By being a moron and neglecting real life in order to play the game? That's not WoW's fault :colbert:

I pretty much got addicted to wow and none of my friends played nor wanted to.
:colbert:
Video game addiction
if you enjoy the game for the PvP, you might as well go to Wawrhammer Online (Great PvP!), if you enjoy the game for the raids, might as well go to Wurm Online, if you enjoy the game for the crappy combat, might as well go to Ruinscape :p Atleast it's free! xD
No, I don't want to pay thirty-bucks a month to do constant grinding and raids. If I wanted something similar, I'd play Torchlight, which doesn't involve pricey monthly charges.
Also, I don't want to be a part of the whole social group of WoW people who sit there, snivel, and talk about their character irl. Just doesn't seem appealing to me.
So to answer your question, no, probably not.
thirty bucks??? what wow are u playing
WoW stopped being good after BC came out, and went downhill even more with Wrath.
Not worth paying 70 bucks for the base game, the expansions, and thirty days of game time only to stop playing five to ten days later because the game is horribly boring, even at high levels.
I won't go into all of the stupid mounts that fourteen year old kids can guilt their parents into buying for them for 25 bucks, either.

Because that kind of overblown stereotype totally represents every single World of Warcraft player. Also, what's wrong about talking about your character in real life? If you find another WoW player to talk to then there is no problem.

Some guy during programming class watched his wow character on armory all the time.
Go back to your subforum, that's what it's there for.

He's not begging, go look up the definition, yes this is in the wrong section, but who cares.
I played WoW for 5 years. Enough is enough for me :)

I care and I'm pretty sure all the guys that have also mentioned in that it's the wrong section care. What's the point in having a WoW section if he's not going to use it, when real games like RDR and BFBC2 don't get their forum any more.
Clearly WoW is one of them fake games.

Wow your eyes have to cope with the extra pixels of 1 thread in the wrong section, my heart bleeds for you. Wait hold on while I play the worlds saddest song on the worlds smallest violin for you. Seriously dude, lighten up.
I went down that dungeon, but apparently my account was banned for "advertising", I went through it with them got my account unbanned, what happens the next day... banned for "advertising". I hate Blizzard, they suck ass. I even said it to them too, I told them to go fuck off and cancel my subscription, I had like 2 months of membership left. I have all the expansions too.
