S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl [u]Pros:[/u] - No linear gameplay, you do what you want. - Excellent mod support. - Interesting storyline and location. - The gameworld is huge. [u]Cons:[/u] - Starts off pretty slow, but once you get all set it's fun.

Mass Effect Pros: -Neat storyline -Goddamn great characters -Writers behind it are genius -Combat surprised me, it was actually fun -Sexy environments -RPG with some real consequence behind your decesion Cons: -Some of the sidequests could use more depth, but they're far from cookie-cutters -I personally wish there were more friendly places to roam -Starts kind of slow

Hearts of Iron 3 [B][U]Pros:[/U][/B] [LIST] [*]Unique army, naval and airforce customization. [*]Play as almost any nation. [*]Lots of fun mods. [*]Friendly community. [*]Historical or anti-historical gameplay. [*]Almost completely moddable to your liking. [/LIST] [B][U]Cons:[/U][/B] [LIST] [*]Not-so-good AI [*]Can get really sluggish. [*]Lots of bugs. [*]Requires a lot of patience. [*]Crashes. [*]Things can get a little bit too anti-historical. [/LIST]

Half-Life 2 (the series, EP1 and EP2 included although EP2 is the best out of the bunch) Pros: Excellent singlplayer story. Gameplay is great with very few bugs and glitches. Very easy to get use to. Cons: Some places (but very few) are sometimes difficult to find out just what to do next. Although, you do eventually get the hang of it but you have to put some thought and logic into it. Still, that can also be a + if your the kind of gamer who really likes to figure out things. Other than sometimes spending 20 min trying to figure out where to go or what to do next I really don't have any cons. Excellent game.

[b]Dead Space[/b] [b][u]Pros:[/u][/b] -Scary as fuck -Interesting story -Likable characters -Awesome graphics -Unique gameplay (can you say zero gravity?) -EASY trophies/achievements [b][u]Cons:[/u][/b] -Scary as fuck -Issac doesn't say a word........and this is really one of those games where it is not okay to pull a Gordon Freeman [b]Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots[/b] [b][u]Pros:[/u][/b] -Best stealth game ever -AMAZING graphics -Many different ways of completing the game/going through levels -EASTER EGGS GALORE! -LARGE array of weapons available to use (I think there's about 50-60 different guns you can use) -EPIC FUCKING STORY - B&B babes.........they are quite the pieces of eye candy -MGO gets new gear nearly every week -Large amount of customization options for MGO character [b][u]Cons:[/u][/b] -MGO has a pretty high difficulty level -MGO has game mechanic lag problems......which are pretty fucking bad -VERY LONG cutscenes -No trophies

[u][b]Fallout 1[/u][/b] [u]Pros:[/u] Excellent story In Depth S.P.E.C.I.A.L Stats system Some hidden but somewhat funny easter eggs Open World (You are free what you can do in the world) A Karma System [u]Cons:[/u] The Turn Based combat may not appeal to some people. When you start off you can't kill everything in the world, as you are not that strong and not got good equip until a few minutes later. Negative Karma can be a pain To complete the storyline can take a while [u][b]Diablo 2[/u][/b] [u]Pros:[/u] 4 Acts in which you can get various loot Loads of items, including magical, set, rare and unique type items You can play online with 8 other different players for free on Battle.net A simple Hack 'n' Slash Combat method Many different skills for each character, each with their own different play styles In each increasing difficulty you'll get more better loot drops from slain monsters and bosses Is fun to play with a couple of friends [u]Cons:[/u] The game can be known for excessing grinding Can get repetitive The expansion only gives out one new act Bosses after they been slain before (quest completion for that boss) will not drop as good loot as the first time you faced them. Hirelings die too easy

GTA IV, Operation Flashpoint: Cold War Crisis, ArmA: Armed Assault, ArmA II, Sim City 4 im too cool to post pros and cons :pcgaming: I'll post them for ArmA and ArmA II.. Pros: ability to play across an entire country great graphics incredible realism superb modding capabilities and mods an editor that never gets old..you can design any mission you want. cons: buggy until the later patches.. sometimes rendering the game unplayable.. (Manhattan mission anyone?) hard to run until later patches...

Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines Pros: Very immersive Fantastic story Amazing voice-acting Loads of amazing quests & side-quests Fun combat Loads and loads and loads of choices ingame Overall greatness(I said already that I think it's the best role-playing game ever) Also, the community still releases patches for the game, adding new stuff and fixing bugs Cons: Very buggy, almost unplayable without patches The game developers have only released two patches, fans of the game made every patch from 1.3(I think) up to whatever patch is actual(6.7)
