With companies from Shell to Nintendo, you can make your money off of any company necessary. video: So give it a try! Dumped all my money into Apple It's a bit more unstable than google but with the influx of seniors I don't know
So basically it's the real stock market, but you don't actually make or lose any money?
Pepsi. :smug:
Sounds like a cool concept. I'm trying a similar game/app on my iPod called iTrade, we should get a group running for that
I'm investing all my money in any company that's drastically failing. Maybe I can raise their spirits
I'm investing all my money in any company that's drastically failing. Maybe I can raise their spirits
you're doing it wrong. you're suppose to do that with real money, that way they really do raise their spirits
you're doing it wrong. you're suppose to do that with real money, that way they really do raise their spirits
Well they can see that someone is rooting for them in spirit. Its that thought that counts :)
what's the use of having a female guide if she isn't even hot
thats why capitallism sucks
Visa is going up, try that.
Kapitall is actually not a game but a preview of an investing application in Beta Test.
My money isn't changing for whatever reason, I still have $100,000 even after buying 1,000 shares from Microsoft.
Usually, a game's about doing other things, things which aren't already boring in real life. Oh wait, let's make a game about working in McDonalds.(Boxes away)

Oh god I have practically no idea how the stock market works but let's give this a try. [editline]06:47PM[/editline] Hold on I bought 10 shares in Google but it doesn't say my money went down, what's going on
Oh god I have practically no idea how the stock market works but let's give this a try. Go into your portfolio and check your cash, it should be down. Don't forget to haggle on the price of buying and selling shares.
That is what your shares are worth I believe. Go into your portfolio and check your cash, it should be down. Don't forget to haggle on the price of buying and selling shares.
Oh yeah, the portfolio cash went down by the right amount. So the big sum in the top left is all my cash plus all my shares? I saw there was a box to type in price per share. Is this how you haggle, type in a slightly different number to benefit yourself and see if it's accepted? Also I wait for these shares to go up and then sell them, right? I'm guessing that's how stock market trading works.
Put 500 stocks worth 100 each into Google, I look at the screen after half a minute and I got 200K added to my 100K.
Go to manage cash, make a deposit of as much money as you like. You get free money. Well that was disappointingly easy.
Put 500 stocks worth 100 each into Google, I look at the screen after half a minute and I got 200K added to my 100K.
Are stocks different from shares? I don't get how you're allowed to specify the price per share when you buy. Surely you just pay the rated amount? I feel stupid.
My money isn't changing for whatever reason, I still have $100,000 even after buying 1,000 shares from Microsoft.
That's your current worth, not your cash. If microsoft shares go up, your worth will go up, but your cash will stay the same. It's basically how much you will have if you sell everything right now
I just put 100k$ in Enron! :D
I just put 100k$ in Enron! :D
You sir, are a financial genius. I keep signing up for these stock market simulator things and forgetting about them. I'll give this one a try but the completely beige woman was rather off putting.
You sir, are a financial genius. I keep signing up for these stock market simulator things and forgetting about them. It's currently at $0.0086 and keeps going up by 2 cents and then dropping back down. Im just going to sell it when it goes up 2 cents and the ends will justify the means
Are stocks different from shares? I don't get how you're allowed to specify the price per share when you buy. Surely you just pay the rated amount? I feel stupid.
Woops meant shares not stocks.
