Is it really the best free to play mmo out there? Do any of you play it? I've heard many good thing about it and I'm looking for a f2play MMO cause I'm broke as fuck.

Really good game, but you got to actually learn a lot of stuff. For instance you can't just use duel daggers on a rogue, you've got to get the "perk" or w/e it's called.
It kinda got old for me pretty quickly. Also a lot of interesting dungeons seem to be p2p, along with several classes and the warforged race.
I haven't played it for awhile. You do reach a point (I think it was level 8 or 9 for me) where you're just begging for p2p content though. So although it may be free, seriously you'll probably have to pay to enjoy it fully. It's more of a trial than anything.
That said you can earn the content through ingame means, although I think it gets very tedious. I was able to unlock Warforge myself, which was awesome.
I think it should also be mentioned that I think now that LOTRO has gone f2p, it will reign superior.

Shame it isn't more like actual 3.5 DnD, else I would be having a blast.
Also this game is fucked up, fighters are useful, sorcerers are better than wizards, clerics are forced into the healbot role again and don't make fighter's cry at night. MONKS THAT CAN DO THINGS PAST SECOND LEVEL?! What is this heresy? I wonder why they also did it in eberron, but didn't include Psionics and artificers, or half-orcs and druids for that matter.(Those are being added though)
I still love the game though, it's the only MMO that can keep my attention, I just can't ever get to high levels though.

I hate the game, because everything is fucking instanced. EVERYTHING. But if that doesn't bother you, you're in for a good game.
I liked that storytelling voice, was a nice feature and tons of stuff to discover on your 1st play, hidden places, chests etc.

Ah, that's the word, last game I played similar to D&D was Neverwinter Nights, I sucked so bad but had tons of fun.
You can't even be monks unless you pay I think. Also they increased the level cap to 20, you either got to pay for find a crystal (something similar?) in a quest.

I never said anything about wanting to be a monk, I was more laughing at how the MMO is more balanced than the actual system. Also they got rid of the crystals, and the level cap has been 20 for a long while.

I have been playing this with my buddies. If you have friends playing, this is a pretty good game. It has voice built in, FYI.
I am a ranger, and we have a wizard, rogue, fighter, and cleric in the group. We kick piles of ass.
I want to play this really bad with my clan but when launching the game all I get is a black screen :(
I looked on fourms for help but couldn't find any leads.
Hmm sad. I love playing as rogues, they're just my favourite.
Downloading now, hope it doesn't pull an Allods online on me and not work
NVM It works pretty good, doesn't look too bad either.
