tried updating the game? as well as you directx and video drivers? such things might help, otherwise you friendly neighbourhood Google isn't far away friend =)
also OS are you on?
Having a pirated copy of a game isn't a reason for a game to not work.
Do you have any mods installed? Sometimes that causes a problem.

The uploader may of accidentally deleted a file, changed some setting, etc etc

Patch the game. Update drivers. Defragment.
