Postal 3 is an upcoming game continuing from where the player left off. The game will be using the source engine instead of the the unreal engine and will also be in third person. The release date is currently set for 2010. The game will be available for Microsoft Windows, Linux, Mac OS X, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3.

I, for one, look forward to Postal 3, third person view or not.
I just hope they game will allow the player to piss on people like in postal 2. I don't know how it will be done though since its in third person.

It's not going to be as outrageous as the second one which sucks... you could set people on fire, watch as they scream and burn, as they try to crawl away you can piss them out... and as they lay quivering and mutalated you can hack their head off with a fucking shovel.

They seem to take a more humerous way with gravitygun like vacuum cleaners, radio control monkeys that can trow poop and badger saws.
There`s still setting poeple on fire and more dismemberend than vanilla Postal 2 withoud apocalypse weekend tough. The video with the machete has limbs flying everywhere, poeple limping after their leg got shot off and poeple being cut in 2 pieces from their belly.

Not a big fan of the third person perspective, but I guess it can't be that bad.
Seems like postal 1 and 2, 3 will have outdated graphics too.
Does it really matter if its out dated? It doesn't look bad at all on the source engine.
If they don't make it even crazier than Postal 2 violence-wise then there will be no point at all in even giving this game a second's thought.
And from what I've seen of the game, it's not going to be nearly as gory and the third person view just doesn't work.
It's going to suck.
Every single gameplay video I've seen of this game looks pretty awful.
I enjoyed Postal 2 when I first played it 5-6 years ago, I reinstalled it a few months ago only to realize that it's actually a pretty awful game as well.
