The Lore:

The land of Kharn was not a land of peace, but most were happy there until...
The King was Slaughtered and he had no heir, the land went into ruins and bandits ruled.

This is the Lands Story:

A Noble, Gaino Elex had all nobility stripped from him as the King trialed him for treason. Gaino Elex... as a result, committed suicide. BUT, he had a son, Garvo Elex, and from that day he lived on the streets. A rouge life, and, through that he learn acrobatics, free-running, stealth, all the bad stuff. As he grew older his hate for the King grew and grew; the king ruined his life. Nearing his 21st Birthday he began recruiting men...stealthy men.
They began devising a plan to kill the king. After weeks of hard planning they where finally. . .
ready to assassinate the king.

They came when the guards shifts change, at dawn. As the Guards left the gates, they quickly climbed over the walls into the palace grounds; they had to be quick as the shift replacing them were coming quickly. Garvo quickly shot an arrow towards the top of the palace, as it hit the wall, the tip exploded slightly and shot out metal bars to keep the arrow in place, the arrow also had a rope tied to it.
Quickly the assassins moved along the rope until they got on top of the palace. They crouched down and went onto the center of the flat roof so the guards wouldn't see them. As the guards went on the other side of the palace, they moved.

Clung onto the edge of the roof, they threw themselves down and through a window, elegantly rolling as they landed. There was a guard in the room, Garvo who was the first through the window quickly threw a knife, ending up the poor guard's neck. They went along the corridors, along the edges where it was dark, like their black shadow cloaks. They quickly went through a door and there where two guards there.
The Royal Guards.

One named Aeot Strom, and the other Strohi Zon. Garvo quickly threw a knife, the slow reacting Strohi Zon, fell to the floor, dead , Garvo quickly threw another. Aeot Stepped to the side, dodging it with ease. The remaining guard drew his sword and ran at Garvo...

The other assassins came in as Garvo parried the strike and then rolled to the side, the Assassins poured in and circled around the royal guard, and all went to strike at once. He was hit from all directions and fell to the floor, little did they know that Aeot was still breathing. The assassins went up the stairs into the King's quarter, one assassin threw a knife at the Kings wife. Garvo quickly grabbed the King's son and slit his throat.

The King stammered "W-w-who are you?!"
Garvo pulled of his mask and replied, "quot;Remember me? Gaino Elex's son ...? YOU made my life misery for the past 10 Years! I have come for revenge."
Garvo quickly ran towards the king, jumped, raised the sword above his head, and slashed down... the sword piercing the King's head.

Garvo grabbed the king, tied some rope around his head, smashed a window, and hung the king out of the window. After that the Assassins vanished.

The next day there was a commotion around the capital, the king was dead. They could not decide who was to rule, as their heir had just died. Then, bandits and rouges hidden in caves came out. They began making frequent attacks... until nothing was left of the Kings empire.
The bandits ruled.
Garvo claimed himself the leader of them all.

But Aeot Strom awoke a few weeks after being knocked out. He was in a cave, on his self his wounds healed and bandaged... he heard the news of a terrified villager.

Aeot Strom made a force known as the Resistance.

He split it into three groups, each with their own attributes. After a few months he was known as General Aeot Strom. Refuges from the land no go to Resistance camps across Kharn.
Aeots goal is to defeat the Bandits...

Bandits:

Bandit Lore:

We're the Bandits, we fight for what is right.
For too long we have ruled under the King's order. Outcasting everyone who stands in his way.
AND we have showed our might!
By killing there king and ruling this land, we outnumber the Resistance, we outmatch the Resistance. . .
We're determined, we have struck fear into the Resistance's heart,
and we will keep that fear in their HEART because our Leader, The
assassin Garvo Elex will lead us to victory... To WIPE out the Resistance
for once and for all...
We are the Bandits.

Bandit Leader:

Garvo Elex, he was part of a once rich family . . . a family of nobles.
Until the king stepped in and stripped everything from them, at least.
His father and mother committed suicide, leaving him to raise himself on the streets.
Anger inside him built.
He trained and trained his skills in acrobatics and freerunning.
He eventually became an assassin, he formed a group of assassins to kill the king to rid the land of him. Doing so, he and his Group grew bigger.
Now they rule the land, the only thing standing in their way is the Resistance.

Resistance:

Resistance Lore:

We're the Resistance, fighting for the freedom of
this land.
Freeing it from the Bandits conquering this plagued land.
We will restore order and law into this land.
Our leader General, Aeot Strom, will lead us to victory against these
Bandits and Murderers! Because we are superior! The Bandits
have ruled for too long! It is our time to strike!
We are the Resistance.

Resistance Leader:

General Aeot Strom was one of the King's Royal Guards.
A brave Soldier, a natural leader, and he happens to be a very tall
tall and broad man.
He is violent and skilled in combat.
He was born in a time of civil war, raised in war.
He has been trained all his life by his Parents.
Now... both of his parents are deceased,
AND he still trains hard every day!
He is relentless,If he has a target
He will not give up until he reaches his goal.
He will not give up hope.
For the Resistance is the only hope of winning this war.

Races

Human:

General Appearance:

Race Description:

Humans, a special but yet, the most normal race! They come in many different shades, but it isn't a surprise to see some tanned people, especially from people that work under the sun a lot.

They can adapt and become very strong, or very smart. There are many different "flavors" of them.
Humans make up the majority of the kingdom, possibly because they rarely live up to 100.

Elf:

General Appearance:

Race Description:

Elves, a tall race. Their appearances are similar to humans, with the exception of pointed ears and the height difference.

They are not as strong as the other races, not naturally anyways. Elves appear to be quite knowledgeable due to their lifespan. They age quite slowly, and for the majority of their life, they appear around their 20s. They say elves can live easily up to a thousand, and even start noticeably ageing around 600! It is rare to see elf children, because of their lifespan, they don't exactly need more children.

Lynian:

General Appearance:

Race Description:

Lynians are anthropomorphic canine humanoids - as in they stand on two feet! They come in different 'breeds', but the common look in Kharn are dark wolves.
They are rather large and furry beasts, but they are rather smart. They have an slightly longer lifespan than humans, being able to easily live to 100 without problem, and 150 if they are healthy! They are usually birthed in small litters of three or four, and are furry from the start! Lynians are known for being family oriented and strong to their beliefs, yet, they are still respectful.
They are fast, especially on four legs.

Shade:

General Appearance:

Race Description:

Shades are dark-skinned( sometimes a dark red ) beings of an average height. The majority of them are specialized in illusion magic.
Due to their looks they have been called evil, and over time it just stuck. Many side with the bandits, but it isn't impossible to see a shade with a good-heart! Another thing is that they are quite easy to anger, so watch out!
There are many theories about how one is born, but they don't seem know themselves. Stories say they materialize out overlapping shadows. There isn't any average lifespan, they just die when they die.

Faun:

General Appearance:

Race Description:

Fauns, half human, half goat. They are rather tall! On the whole they are a nice, peaceful race that sides with the Resistance. Of course, Fauns are welcomed by bandits for their skills at alchemy and farming.
Their upper half is a usually hairy human while their lower halves are fuzzy and hoofed. They come in many colors.
They are almost like elves with their aging methods. They are considered adults at 45, and usually live the rest of their life in a youthful bliss. The oldest known faun is around 250, they are a relevantly new species to Kharn, and truthfully, they end up killing themselves half the time due to some games.

Magic:

You can only learn ONE Type of Magic
So choose carefully!

Wind: Wind Magic is more of a Support Magic.

Used to blast your enemies away from you! Wind Magic cannot do any Real Harm.

Fire: Fire Magic is a Aggressive and Destructive type of Magic.
Create fire out of thin air to burn your opponents!

If used in the wrong hands could destroy a entire town

Water: Water Magic can cause a lot of damage if used correctly.
Using the ocean and sea to your advantage to defeat your opponents!

Earth: Earth is a Offensive and Destructive Magic.

Use the ground to shoot boulders at your enemy.

Make Ravines under your opponents!

Lightning: Using Electricity to your advantage, zapping your opponent.

Knock your Opponent unconscious!

Telekinesis: Levitating magic! Lift things up without touching them.
Pushing a enemy away while being feet away!
Telekinesis is a Support magic.

Illusionist: Make your enemy see things that aren't really happening.

Trick them into doing something! This certain magic is usually tied with the darker side.
