This happened on the Boulderfist realm about 3 days ago, I was heading to stormwind to sell some ore when i happened across an army of who-knows-what, A bunch of people around were saying it was a group of gold spammers, and a top-down view of it said something like = OM

They float way up off the ground
They all look the same
They all do the exact same movement at the exact same time.

Yeah, it's their new thing because Blizzard started to get a bit better at cleaning up the corpses.

This somehow reminds me of the 3 orc shaman I saw in a BG, all called a variant on "DrManhattan" and all doing the same exact thing.

Speedhack to Stormwind + Move upwards would take about 30 seconds max, going to Dalaran would take longer as you have to wait for the boat and such.

I don't see the point in flying up a few feet into the air, what are they gaining from doing that?

I think they're trying to make them stand out in the crowd.
Either that or this is actually a bug in the program they use to make the corpse patterns where it's not teleporting them up high enough and/or letting them fall.

They are always female priests..and they always spell out some of the stupidest fucking domain names i've ever seen...

In EU servers I've only seen a text of dead characters, and that was a while ago.
We usually just get insane /trade spam and /whispers.
I wish blizzard could stop them, they're really annoying.
On a side note, if people want gold they'll find out where to get it themselves.
