Portal doesn't wanna start.

Whenever I try starting Portal, I just get this error message:

I had the exact same thing happen to TF2 some time ago, but it fixed itself in an update.

What I've tried:

- Deleting ClientRegistry.blop + Steam restart
- Deleting AppUpdateStats.blob + Steam restart
- Restarting
- Reinstalling
- Playing something else and trying again.
- Waiting for a Portal update but this takes ages since they are so rare.

So any suggestions?

Your launcher .dll is missing from portal\bin.

I think I can upload mine somewhere and give it to you, see if that works.
