It's a diode so that the camera can track the movement easier.
I'd like to test out that sandbox that they demoed in E3, looks like the wii we always wanted.
I like it cause I enjoy the Wii but I also don't because of it's innacuracy. This seems to replicate exactly what the user wants it to. And it also means Wii games on PS3 hardware. Developers have already shown interest in porting Wii games to the PS3 cause of this.
Also, it's apparently called "Arc"

kind of hard to form an opinion on something that hasn't even released and say "wow it sucks" or "omg it's awesome".
my opinion on the concept, however - it looks neat but i'm sure it will turn out like the EyeToy and PSEye - almost nothing worthwhile will use it.

nnno not really. both this and natal are equally as gimmicky as the wii. the only difference is the price of either this or natal added to the price of the console is still more than the cost of a wii, so the wii will still have an upper hand, and in turn, neither this nor natal will really go anywhere.

What I saw from the videos, it works great, it's actually fun.
This coupled with PS3 games will be fun.
I don't know why anybody looked at that and thought it doesn't look really stupid. But it might be good, who knows.
