I want to take a video of me playing some CS:S but i lag so bad using xfire to record a video.
Is there any other way i could take a video without lagging?

He just told you how to save it as an .avi so you can put it in WMM.
Join a server, open console, type "record movie", play~~~~~, open console, type "stop recording", type playdemo movie, open fraps or xfire, record the movie.
A tip, watch the movie once, before you record it, it helps, because then your computer is not loading anything new.
