Sure you can, install it, open the executable and there you go.

Low = High
Medium = Very High
High = Extreme
You have an i3 540 which is IIRC a Dual Core CPU clocked @ around 3GHz coupled with 4 GB or ram and a NVIDIA GeForce 315 I would say you are gonna have a bit of trouble getting good framerates even on Low (aka High Preset)
In my opinion you will need to upgrade your Graphics Card to enjoy the game :)
Ahh, ok.
Possibly High (Low) would be decent
I can run things on high on a different resolution. It may look crap but I don't mind that.
I'd work on upgrading your graphics card first, then trying out Crysis 2.
People asked "can i run crysis" SO many times back in 07/08 that it basically became a meme.
Are you FUCKING telling me the same will happen with crysis 2 ?
you can't run it at a playable framerate, no matter what setting

and by decent framerate I mean 25+

Hardly anyone have been asking that.
So you're safe.
Your i3 I'm not too sure about, but the 315 seems like a budget rebrand.
I'd suggest a 460 for a cheap upgrade. I run the game on max at 1600x900 with 40-60+ FPS on an
AMD Phenom II X4 955BE, 460GTX, and 8GB of DDR3
Have you tried the Crysis MP demo for benchmark?
