Was getting this while playing hitman some today. I'd get a message sound but no message anywhere. Wondering if anyone else has gotten this and why.

I have the same issue when I'm standing near a computer in Quake. Makes me want to reply to Shub-Niggurath.

my taskbar is on another monitor, and from what I've seen, I sometimes receive a message that closes when I shift-tab :v:

It's reasonably possible that it's because I'm crouching and walking forward when I shift-tab. (go find out what ctrl + w does in steam chat or an internet browser or something, for those who don't know why that makes sense)
