Pretty sure it's just free for all unless possibly it's a private match.

You can in free for all, although it only changes your model and you aren't actually teamed up with anyone.

There's a fuckload of different gamemodes in MW2.
You want Team Deathmatch.

I'm pretty sure he is asking for a gamemode you can switch teams in the middle of a game. Most gamemodes have that, just go to menu, and switch team instead of switch class. Otherwise, you want Team Deathmatch like I_Love_Garrysmod said.
