I think they should put Half-Life 1 on Xbox Live, that would be so cool.
How about no

Have you heard about this thing called PC? And this other thing called Steam? Learn about them, boy.
or just play it on PC. :ninja:'d
But 360 has way better graphics and is generally way better than PCs.
Wow. Just leave your computer now. Did he really just say that, in a serious tone?
But 360 has way better graphics and is generally way better than PCs.
You should probabley go kill yourself. "O twee60 haz battar grphics cuz it has hd n shit u feelin me dawg" No, the 360 has no more than maybe 1 gig of ram, a GPU the size of a key on your keyboard. You can't compare something you can upgrade to have 100 monitors to one that has a hd tv. If I wanted, i could go hook my PC right now to my HD TV downstairs.
How about no
+1
It was obvious to me. No one can say that seriously.
It was obvious to me. No one can say that seriously.
Except a large amount of the gaming population.
All dumb fanboy arguing aside, I'd say it'd be a pretty good idea considering The Orange Box was released on 360. It'd be neat to see it with achievements, too. I'd only care about it if they used Gearbox's PS2 version graphics, though. The original PC version's graphics just look terrible compared to the upgrades Gearbox did. (In before HUUURRRR WAAAAH YOU CAN'T TALK ABOUT VALVE'S MASTERPIECE LIKE THAT, STUPID CONSOLE FANBOY!) Also to the OP: If you're out looking for Half-Life 1 to play on consoles, I'd highly recommend the PS2 version. Gearbox did an amazing job upgrading models and textures in that version, and it lets you plug in a USB mouse/keyboard if you want to play it traditionally. And before someone says it, the PS2 version's graphics are not the same as the "HD Pack" released for the PC version. The PS2 version's models are even more defined and animated. Look up some videos of it, it's pretty cool.

You'd know that if you played it. :colbert: [editline]12:40AM[/editline] You're just jealous that consoles STILL have the best versions of the Half-Life series. :smug:
and you said we were the fanboys.
A fanboy is someone with an uninformed opinion. I own and enjoy just about every version of every Half-Life series game to come out, and I can honestly say that: PS2 Half-Life > PC Half-Life 360 Half-Life 2 > PC Half-Life 2 360 Half-Life 2: Episode One > PC Half-Life 2: Episode One ...which is nearly the whole main series. I LOVE the PC versions, especially since they were, of course, the first versions I played, but the console ports improve on the visuals and add more features. The only ground the PC versions of those games have are resolution and mouse/keyboard controls (except PS2 HL1, since it supported mouse/keyboard), which to me are inconsequential given that these are single-player games. Yes of course, the modding aspect took the Half-Life series on PC to far greater heights than the console versions could ever hope, but as far as the base games go the PC versions have aged and the only upgrades they got were console-based. Chet Faliszek said a while ago that the 360 version upgrades to HL2 and HL2EP1 would never come to PC, at least not by Valve's hand, as a treat to people who pick up the 360 version of the Orange Box. So when I want to play through the old Half-Lifes (or is that "Lives"?), I play them on consoles. I prefer PC play in FPS games over console play by far, but sometimes you have to at least try what consoles have to offer and just enjoy it for what it is - a game. It's okay to admit that consoles are *gasp* fun to play games on and that Half-Life on an Xbox 360 is still Half-Life.
i think this video should answer your thoughts about that.
i can't believe you guys didn't realize lockdown6 was being sarcastic when he said "But 360 has way better graphics and is generally way better than PCs." :colbert:
