I'm surprised that there hasn't been a thread about this game yet. If the style and substance of God of War and the gameplay of the Legend Of Zelda series had a baby, then it would be Darksiders. This game is incredibly underrated, overlooked, and overshadowed by the inferior Bayonetta. [b] I'm intrigued, how exactly is this game like Zelda, and how is this game like God of War?[/b] Very good questions. It is similar to Zelda as the game contains puzzles and dungeons very similar to those that you would see in a Zelda game. The combat is somewhat like God of War, with a hint of Zelda. [b]Well Sgt.Revolver, that sounds great but what's the story?[/b] Well the story is quite good, it's basically Heaven and Hell against each on Earth, well that's not exactly it, it is much deeper, but I suck at explaining shit. Bayonetta ts better in my opinion, great combat, and style.
They're not really the same genre. This is more of an action adventure game as opposed to a straight up Action game. GoW and Bayonetta are also two different types of action games, just because of their speeds.
There's been a few threads on it, they usually die rather quickly though. On topic, it's very average, I can't play it anymore though, before playing I didn't know what screen tearing was, after playing it I now know. Fuck my eyes seriously hurt.
This game is like Zelda, God of War, Portal. With a massive fucking emphasis on God of War.
I love this game.
