There's a spawn about 50 blocks wide, but once you clear it, you're free to do whatever you like. You can grief, raid, steal, destroy, or you can venture off miles into the wild and build up a base alone, or with friends, protected by a multitude of fortifications and/or traps. The choice is entirely up to you.
There's no logging plugins, so if your shit is destroyed, I can't roll it back, sorry.

In the past, we used to be a widely furry dominated community, correct. At one point in time (2010-2011), SammyServers was run by two members of a furry clan. That is no longer the case, and we haven't run ZM servers for about 2 years now, and our GMod servers recently shut down too.

Due to Orebfuscator causing too many annoyances for legit players, we're now using [url]http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/anti-x-ray/[/url] instead.
