i hav the original....i purchase it... all i want to do is make a backup of the disc so if i lose the original i hav the copy of it....

Did you even read?
He wants to take the original copy of the game, and make a copy of it. It's not completely piracy if he owns the game. I think it's still a grey zone, but it isn't really piracy unless he doesn't own the game.
