It works by defragmenting game directories, temporarily shutting down background processes, cleaning RAM, and intensifying processor performance. That means you can keep all the features of Microsoft® Windows® Vista™ and XP® ready for when you need them, but turn them off when you are ready to get down to serious business – gaming. Game Booster makes it simpler to enjoy the latest games and take your experience to a new level. All systems go! The best part. It's 100% free and safe!
Believe it or not, this shit actually works, now I can play TF2 on my 399€ laptop around 40FPS. (Instead of 29) Give this a try. Easy to use and no crapware with it, and it comes with multiple languages. You might want to check out the rest of IObit's software. They're pretty useful. Screen cap of the program. Thanks for this!

http://i28.tinypic.com/2wc1gyg.jpg No virus here, boss.

Yes. it works. I had yellow/green fps on Sawmill instead of the usual red/yellow on this low end PC. I also had a sweet battle medic related win, jumping into the point by myself killing the other four on it, resulting in an epic overtime win.

I am now able to run Oblivion on high on mah shitty comp.
Note: This program only shuts down user related processes, so it will not harm your PC
This works. Believe this man!
I use it too but I only get about 1fps extra, maybe I'll update it and try again.

It works good for the low end computers but high ends are just.... No.
Can I choose what apps I want to keep on/ turn off?
Can I choose what apps I want to keep on/ turn off?
Yes.
I used this for a while, but it only gave me 1-3 extra FPS, plus it made my system unstable (bluescreens every once in a while).
Yes.
Might try this, then. My PC's pretty shit.
What? dumb? :frown: -snip-
does this work, or is it even nessecary on a win 7 machine.
Does this work, or is it even nessecary on a windows 7 machine?
Yes it does, it has Windows 7 support. Try it, I can't tell you if its gonna help or not.
Only drivers can cause BSOD's, software does not have the access to cause them. So update your drivers. Edit: Currently this is version 1.21
Well if it didn't BSOD without gamebooster and suddenly starts to with it, I blame Gamebooster.
I hope this isn't one of those gimmick applications.
I hope this isn't one of those gimmick applications.
Nah, but the site looks kinda suspicious. :v:

I'm realllllly suspicious about stuff like this but alot of people here seems to have used it and I don't find any complaints when I google it so I'll give it a go!
Download site looks fucking suspicious, it's almost as if they dont want me to download it :raise:
Download site looks fucking suspicious, it's almost as if they dont want me to download it :raise:
I know, but as I said, no crapware with it. Ban me if I lie.
Ban me if I lie.
I dont have the power to do that son
I dont have the power to do that son
But someone else does.
This makes literally no difference to my gaming. I'm still running tf2 at 10fps fff
Although I don't mind having shit running in the background while I am (I actually prefer it so I can switch over if I need to), that's a pretty cool application.
But someone else does.
I wouldn't do that. =)
I tried this before, but I didn't notice any boost in performance in the game I was playing. I didn't use it with TF2 yet because I thought it was not allowing me to join a server for some reason. I highly doubt it's a virus because I've seen it posted on other forums and nobody complained about it.
Game Me what?
old
I like this. Keeps me at a solid 17 fps (in action) on tf2. With an integrated card :D
I'm assuming this is only useful for computers that can only run microsoft word on highest settings
Use this to shut down more processes.
I know about that, I just don't know which ones actually need to be kept so I only close down like one thing. Here is my list, tell me what I can safely shut down: EDIT: I tried everything that wasn't in system32, testing TF2 now.
