So far i tried TF2, running great, >30fps all on high.Resolution 1024x768,because of my CRT.
What else should i try,that would run on medium settings?

You can run a lot with that. I have a 3 year old computer that will run almost any game fine. You should be fine your specs are nice.
I have a mobility HD4200 in this Laptop. (3 gig ram, W7)
I can run games like Red Alert 3 on medium with a nice consistent Frame Rate.
