i know many people do not like COD5, but i know some do. So for the people that do, what is your favorite aspect of the game? Mine is the unique weapon balance of the online mode.
nazi zombies
i think world at war is a good game, i prefer cod 4 but nazi zombies keep me playing it, nice to have a bit of variety too instead of just playing modern war games.
Russian campaign in co-op.
Damn awesome.
does anyone have it for PC that fancy's a nazi zombie game? if so add me to xfire or steam :)
I liked CoD5 better than CoD4 only because of Nazi zombies.
Never got hooked on either one though.
I loved Nazi Zombies and the ending of the Russian campaign. Freakin' awesome.
Oh, and by the way, we have a Call of Duty section.
nazi zombies is only worth it on PC because of the custom maps. having to buy an extra 3 maps is lame
I personally began to hate the Russians during the later missions.
I liked it, it had a good tale to tell, a good atmosphere "the beginning of "vendetta", where you wake up in a fountine full of the dead and dying, was just sick)
I have yet to play the modern warfares, but i want to, so dont go hating.
People still play cod5?
I still play it. But yes, hardly anyone plays it now compared to MW2.
People making threads about the game, even though it's community is nearly dead. Thats my favoruite aspect.
Give it another year because there is still
life

I loved the campaign, I thought it was fantastic. Nazi zombies is good too.
I thought the campaign was kind of symbolic - this is the first (and only) WW2 shooter (to my knowledge) that depicts the fall of the reichstag, and I believe that the era of WW2 shooters is drawing to a close...
If that makes sense, bravo to you sir.

Actually, CoD1's last mission was taking over reichstag, it just wasn't as epic in CoD5, so not many people remember it.

There are loads of servers with 30+ more on, and about 15,000 servers altogether at the moment.

You know, they completely stole that fountain part from Enemy at the Gates.

So?
So?
Just saying. I wouldn't want people to think "Oh that was so original and cool" even though the creators didn't think of it themselves.

Still, to say they stole it? I'd consider it more of an homage than anything else.

They copied almost every aspect of the scene, I say they ripped it off.
And I say that's a silly notion.
And I say that's a silly notion.
It would be good to hear why you think that saying that they ripped something off is a silly notion.

Pretty much like all of MW2, it's basically the Rock, Red Dawn and whatever else I missed haha.

Because it's much to good to be a shitty ripoff. If we are to use your logic almost everything in the world is a ripoff of something else.
The portable 30 cals in the campaign were so awesome
They literally tore people apart

I never said it was a shitty ripoff, I said that they basically stole the entire scene from a movie. What I'm saying is that they weren't being original when they thought about putting this in their game, they were just copying a movie.
How's it stealing? It's much much more likely to be an homage.
