Hey guys, so my friend recently preordered Portal 2 on Steam, and he now has a copy of the original Portal for a gift. He wants to give it to me because I did him a favor way back, and my steam account is currently disabled :/
My friend and I want to know if his copy of the Original Portal to gift is just for a limited time, as my Steam account will need lots of time to become back to activation. So please tell me if his copy of the original Portal is good to gift forever, or if he can only gift it for a certain amount of time. THANKS!

I believe he'll be able to gift that copy of Portal anytime he wants, it does not expire if I'm not mistaken, only guest passes do.
The gift stays there forever
