I recently got into Oblivion modding and I've got the hang of making rooms and filling tehm, but I need some help with scripting. I want to make a spell that can teleport to a specified interior and then back again, but I can't get my head around this: http://cs.elderscrolls.com/constwiki/index.php/Teleport_Recall And I don't even know If that's what I need. Could anyone with any experience of Oblivion scripting please make me a script of some sort that gives the palyer a spell that teleports to a location that I can define, and back again? If no-one can, does anyone know of any tutorials that are any good? Please help!
I think that tutorial is pretty straight forward. Can you be more specific on what you're having trouble with? Also this adds a spell which when you cast it, it marks where you are then teleports you to the last place you used the spell. So if you use it in leyawin and the last time you used the spell it was in the imperial city, it will teleport you to the imperial city. Seems kind of clumsy to me. Also the first time you use it, it will teleport you to where ever that marker rat you placed is. Not sure if this is the type of teleportation you're looking for, but I could be wrong about what the spell does.
I understand that it gives me the script I need, but I do not get "To use this, you would also need to define the exTeleport2G global (a short with initial value of 0)." and I don't know how I would set up the spell. Plus I don't think that that spell lets you specify a specific location, but i'm unsure.
[img_thumb]http://i46.tinypic.com/xd5vr7.jpg[/img_thumb] No, this doesn't let you choose a location that you can keep going back to, it just lets you go back to the last place you casted the spell About the spell, http://cs.elderscrolls.com/constwiki/index.php/Scripting_Tutorial:_My_First_Spell, just look around in there and see how they did it
I don't think that's the right script... Anywhay I've deduced an easier way to do what I want, download this: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=16285 asn edit it as I see fit. Thanks for trying to help man, I appreciate it.
