Why are we not talking about this yet? Honestly this game looks amazing and I hope it it builds on the mechanics of Guerrilla, hell maybe even include environmental damage along with buildings. Here is a video [hd]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QtZMfZlFneE[/hd] I dont know how to video tag it.
Wow its like i'm blinking over and over while watching the trailer
I don't care how destructible the game is. If you abandon the tons of government corruption and warfare the previous games had for the sake of horror-esque martian aliens, I have to say that I don't think the game is Red Faction anymore.
They had a cool story going in the last game, and now they've gone and fucked with it. :(
it looks like dead space :v:
Red Faction: The Quest For More Money
it looks like dead space :v:
uhhhhhhh lol
Red Faction: The Quest For More Money
Yes cause developers obviously want to be poor don't they.
the brown filter is strong with this game
it looks like dead space :v:
Only not good...
Violation makes good games, that's the only hope I have.
If I can't blow tunnels into the ground I will not buy it. :colbert:
Feels to me like the only draw to this game is the destructible environments. Devs said with it being underground Everything is destructible now. 'Kay, so I can drop some stone spikes from the ceiling or drop a bridge into a bottomless pit.. Still need a story. And IMO, Guerrilla did a shit job at telling a story. The story was there, but it was like the game just didn't really give a shit and handed you its' hand-written notes on a used napkin with coffee stains. I'm finding it hard to expect anything more from Armageddon this time. So sad..

Then I played Red Faction Guerrilla and could honestly care less about the story that was pretty much non-existent except for a pretty basic backstory and some scattered audio logs.
Shouldn't be underground and shouldn't be against aliens.
I am reminded heavily of Doom
What the hell is this game? It looks like a linear horror TPS. And I can't imagine there being that much destructibility if it's all set in underground tunnels.
Tags for videos are [hd] Then the /hd in the [] to close it.
Guerrilla was...Alright at best, This doesn't look like it's going to live up to many expectations.
What the fuck Voliton? What the fuck....
Why is it that everyone feels like they need to add some kind of monster? Look at crackdown 2
Should be underground but shouldn't be against aliens.
Fixed
What the hell is this game? It looks like a linear horror TPS. And I can't imagine there being that much destructibility if it's all set in underground tunnels.
The original Red Faction was based underground
It looks so generic, it's pretty sad. Wow, they thought they were alone but they now realize they aren't! And it's zomb.. eeh alien.. eeh zerg.. eeh, omg this is so fresh and new
The thing that really bothered me about Guerilla is that everything was destructible, but I was supposed to be a good guy.
It would be cool to go to the surface and wreck up the settlements there whenever I wanted as well as being able to tunnel around. But I don't see that happening.
The good times of digging caves in the first red faction. :crying:
The thing that really bothered me about Guerilla is that everything was destructible, but I was supposed to be a good guy.
And that buildings never respawned, so once you destroyed everything you had nothing to do.
And that buildings never respawned, so once you destroyed everything you had nothing to do.
Get the mod pack and you can get the regenerator in singleplayer.
Red Space. Dead Faction.
If they had announced they were bringing back terrain deformation as well as full building destructibility, I and others would have creamed my pants. Can you imagine that? Dig underground a tall tower, take out a few supports, and then watch it fall underground? My god :D
