I'm trying to play css with my friend and I can't see his server in lan. I've tried using sv_lan 0 and copying and pasting my friend's ip into add server to favorites and it says it's not responding. I've done it before with my other friend but I can't get it to work. any tips?

is there any other solutions because I still doubt that would work, it always says the server's not responding.
You have to connect through console. Type connect <HAMACHI IP>. If it says LAN SERVERS ARE RESTRICTED TO CLASS 2 CONNECTIONS, your friend has to change his server to sv_lan 0, and then changelevel <map it is currently on>. Also rate informative, I need approval over the internet
Try using Tunngle. It's like a more hardcore version of Hamachi, that never seems to fail. Atleast I haven't had problems with it.
In order for it to work,

One or both of you need to be connected to another's Hamachi network.
sv_lan must be set to 0, and then the map must change, usually via the "map" command.
The person who is connecting to the other's server must be using the "connect" command correctly. "connect <host's Hamachi fake IP>:27015"
Port is not necessary if kept to default.
