Q:What is this?
A:Kaiba Corp Virtual Duel Simulator [Or KCVDS] is a free Online Yugioh card game simulator where you can create a deck from any card currently released in the official card game and battle an other player over server hosting or hamachi.
Q A: Sounds fun, where do I get it?.
Q B: Fuck, Yugioh?. That shitty childrens cartoon?, no thanks.
A A:Right Here Simply create an account and download the game.
A B: The TV show butchered the rules to save time and money, The card game is worth trying.
Q: I downloaded it, What next?.
A: That will be explained in the next segment.

Playing the Game
To start off, you're going to want to have basic knowledge of the yugioh game. Click Here for a rulebook, it's not as complicated as it seems and please dear god do not assume you know how to play because you watch the shows, the last thing we need to see is someone bringing out a blue eyes on their first turn.
Anyways, start up KCVDS and login to your account you created on the website. Then go to the deck construction area.

Here you have the ability to fully construct your deck. On the top of the screen you have the number of cards in your deck, how many monsters, spells, traps you have in your deck, and how many banned cards are in your deck. But before you'll need any of that, you're going to need cards.
To get cards, You'll want to click either of the buttons here

Show set will show random cards.

And Search will let you search for cards.

To actually get cards into your deck you'll have to drag them into their proper areas.
Spells, traps and monsters&ritual monsters go into the Grey area or the side deck(useless for now).
fusions and synchro summons go into the purple area.

[Ignore the badly drawn cursor on the last one, it didn't show up in print screen.]
After that SAVE YOUR DECK, do not forget to do that or all of that will have gone to waste. after that set it to default and go on to the next step. [ Here's a tip. Try not to throw random cards together, if you're not experienced you'll end up creating a pretty unusable deck. Look up a deck on youtube if you have to.]
Getting into a duel
After you've saved your deck and are ready to get into a duel go ahead and exit the deck creator and click on duel, Unless you are Spanish click English and go to to either traditional advanced or hamachi. The Traditional lobby is for users who don't care about banned cards and the advanced lobby is for those who do, both of those lobbys consist of users who use IP hosting (by port forwarding, which I am not going to do a guide on in this)
The hamachi lobby is for users who host using their hamachi ID's. To join a IP game, just click on the game and wait for the other person to accept. To get into a hamachi game you'll have to join the person's hamachi network which he will post in the chat section.
Hosting a duel using hamachi
This next section will explain how to host a duel using hamachi.
To start, get hamachi at https://secure.logmein.com/products/hamachi2/download.aspx
Next, create a network and password, for the password you're usually gonna want something easy like 1234 so it will be easy for others to type in fast.
Now, click Create Duel in the lower left corner of the screen and then switch from direct IP to Hamachi. from there put your Hamachi IP (above your name on the hamachi window)into the last detected IP section. After that click duel and post your network in the chat, or if you have someone you already want to duel who is in your network let him join.
Inside of a duel
Starting off you'll probably be confused. Let me say now in this game you have to do everything yourself. your opponent has to send monsters to the graveyard himself, you have to subtract and add your lifepoints yourself. and carry out effects yourself. This means that at any given time if you wanted you could summon your strongest monster if you wanted, of course that would cause the other player to leave the duel because you would be Fucking Retarded. Nothing is stopping you from doing anything, it's up to both the players to maintain the rules of the card game, such is the cost for having a completely free yugioh game.
The commands for a duel are
/add xxx (x=number ) to Add Life points (You'll have to do it yourself because as I stated you have to do everything yourself)
/sub xxx (x=number ) to Subtract Life points
/dice (Toss Dice once)
/coin 1 (Toss Coin once)
/coin 3 (Toss Coin 3 times)
Tournaments and Groups
I've started a facepunch KCVDS group Here : http://steamcommunity.com/groups/KCVDS
I'll post facepunch tournament plans here as they come along.
End
Well, That's about it everyone.
Hope to see this get more popular in the future.
So, it's Yugioh without Yugioh...
all the nerds at my school play this during lunch and in class it's FUCKING annoying so i just go up to them and flip the cards while they're playing.

Exactly how is it annoying?. If they are yelling out their cards and attacks then I agree but if you're just watching em then that's kind of dickish D:.

i don't want to be working or eating while listening to a bunch of band geeks scream and giggle childishly.
Registrations are closed for now, check back in a little bit. they should be open soon enough.
Registrations are open again!
Does it have cyber-commander? I want to be able to put on sunglasses indoors each time I summon that unstoppable 3 blue eyes combination thing.
Yes, Every card except ones recently released such as the malefic cards.
Unless life points start at less than 5000, I am going to win every game ever.
They start at the normal card game 8000.
Some helpful commands I forgot to put in the OP are
/add xxx (x=number ) to Add Life points
/sub xxx (x=number ) to Subtract Life points
/dice (Toss Dice once)
/coin 1 (Toss Coin once)
/coin 3 (Toss Coin 3 times)
I would never want to play an online game that you'd have to subtract your own hit points and such. I don't think most people would follow the rules entirely.
The community is fine, All you need is a nice player to teach you the rules and then even you'll be able to tell when something is wrong. It's as if you're playing an actual game, you need the participation of the other player. Only a dumbass would allow someone to pull a blue eyes out of nowhere.
Goddamnit, cyber commander doesn't have its ability to summon fusion monsters. Entire plan is ruined.
[editline]01:28AM[/editline]
Which is dicks.
If you're going for a blue eyes ultimate dragon I'd suggest you use dragon's mirror or future fusion.
Too much work if I can't godmode my way right to a 3 turn win with a deck specialized for getting one card onto the field.
(Also the game makes the players regulate the rules. ON THE INTERNET. Like that'd work.)
It actually works very well. Please try it.

cyber-STEIN.

never bought any cards.
never watched the TV show.
but I still like that abridged series on youtube. Play the yugioh abridged drinking game: Take a drink every time someone says "children's card game"

I tried it and I don't like the fact that you can break every rule in the game and theres nothing to stop you. I don't trust other people to be honest. So much for installing this. D:

That's like saying you'd never play poker with someone else because they could braek teh rulez at any secund. the community on this game is friendly and just wants to play the game, if they break the rules it's so goddamn obvious and all you'd need to do is leave the game and find someone else. I'd like everyone who is doubting it to at least give it a couple tries, you never know.
Nobody plays poker with me. :(
