• A zombie mod using hl2 engine......

Im working on a zombie mod using hl2 engine here are my ideas -It will be placed in the 1800s back where log cabins and such were -It will be multiplayer or offline with bots -It will be a objective or wave style gameplay -Get coins ( cash ) for killing zombies -upgrades for weapons or health will cost cash -zombies will be remodeled hl2 zombies with no crabs anyways those are my ideas, but here are the the thing im working on/cant do/ can do Working: -In-organic models such as hats and weapons Can do: -Level design ( to a point ) Can't do: -textures -organic modeling -programming -animations ive never got a mod team together or anything like that, but i think i would need one due to my in-ability to do some of the essentials, hopefully i can find some poeple Edit: im going to try to learn as much as i can about these things, if there are any update pics they will be on [url]http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=11082[/url] such as are the current
So, basically: You make the maps and think up the designs, people do everything else.

I suggest you learn to code. Nobody wants to do all the work while you make a map. THe maps is the easy part, coding is the hard part.

P.S - You can always find ebooks floating around the web.

guys i seem to have a problem, when i run a map it says Error! X MountAppFileSystem() failed: SteamMountAppFileSystem(215,40,0xa32fd24) failed with error 21:A different version of this fs is already in use any ideas? hmmm the logical and model entities from the tutorial arent working dont know why, gonna model for a bit

well ive got 4 models done atm one for a one-handed axe one for a top hat one for a sword and to top it off a dagger but this isnt going anywhere unless someone else decides to help, ill ignore the dumb ratings and work on a map.
Sorry to burst your bubble kid, but I'm afraid that absolutely nobody is going to want to have anything to do with your mod unless you post decent pictures, and possibly some more info about your mod. I'd help you with models, but I'm not the kind to work with amateurs all day. Unless you can prove that you're actually a decent mapper, or a modeler, or that you haven't stolen those models, I'm afraid it's likely nobody will help you. tl;dr Please, give more information and some pictures.

The models are pretty bad quality. Not enough detail.

Why is it that every time someone says "I have an idea" the box wagon comes out in full force, followed by the "I'm too good at this to work with YOU!" people?
