So I'm going away for three weeks (6 days of which I will be travelling in a car), and all I will have is a HP netbook, specs:
Windows 7 (nearly sure it's 64x)
Intel Celeron DualCore SU2300 1.2 GHz
3GB RAM
Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500MHD
I will also have limited internet access (I'll have to pay per MB so I can't use it extensively)
It's not much (at all) but it should run old games.
So far, this is what I've come up with:
-X-COM (the first two mainly)
-Alone in the Dark
-Diablo 2 (you can never play enough D2)
-Monkey Island games
So yeah, what more should I get? Considering it will be 3 weeks, 4 (or better, 3 since I played the shit out of D2 a thousand times) games won't really be enough at all.
Sim City 3000/4
Command and Conquer Series
For multiplayer try Battlefield Heroes and Rainbow Six: Raven Shield.
Bring absolutely nothing except a C++ manual. Make your own game. Come back 3 weeks from now and be considered a hero among the rest of us.
Starcraft, or any old RTS game with bots.
Don't take any video games and enjoy your trip.
You should bring some clean pairs of underwear. Oh and a toothbrush.
Game emulators should be cool. NOSGBA and play some DS games.
