Transformers:War For Cybertron- Putting Amazing and Transformers in the same sentence - Games

[img]http://www.seibertron.com/images/news/small/e9df8e23a28118610403db17efa9710d.jpg[/img] Let me start off by saying this: Not only is this game the best Transformers game of all time, it is also one of the greatest games so far this year, even if you hate Transformers, pick it up. You won't regret it. [b]Basic information[/b] The game is a third person shooter, but it is in no way generic. The shooting mechanics are very well done, and the transforming is in no way a gimmick. The art direction in this game is also fucking awesome. No Michael Bay bullshit, its pretty much G1 meets grittiness. Optimus is still a badass and Megatron is still a giant douche, Transformers fans will love the characters. [b]Story[/b]: I'm sure all of you Transformers purists will be happy to know that this game takes place before G1. The story is pretty much a war on Cybertron. There are two seperate campaigns for the Autobots and Decipticons. In the Autobots campaign, you basically have to kick the Decipticons ass. In the Decipticons campaign, you have to kick the Autobots ass. Of course, its not that basic. The stories are actually very deep and very good, and over the course of the story you can play as landmark characters, such as Optimus, Bumblebee, Ratchet, Megatron, Barricade, Soundwave, Warpath, etc. You can also play both stories in 3 player co-op, and its a blast. [b]Escelelation[/b] This is basically a gamemode where you fight oncoming waves of enemies, and again, you can play as many different characters. This is pretty much like Nazi Zombies from World at War or Horde from Gears of War 2, but it is executed much better than those. The result is a very fun, teamwork oriented gamemode. [b]Multiplayer[/b] I'm sure this is what all of you have been waiting for. Along with the great campaign and Escelation modes, the multiplayer is also fucking awesome. It is class-based, and the gameplay is like Unreal Tournament and Tribes had a baby. It is very fast paced and chaotic, and is not tacked on like many other games this gen. It is actually very deep and will keep you occupied for hours. I thought the demo was terrible, I felt really cheated after paying £1 to get gold for a month just to try it too. I don't know... Sure the demo was missing 2 classes but it just played bad to me. I was kinda wanting to pick it up till I tried the demo too...

The multiplayer is actually better than what is represented in the demo.

I liked soundwave because he had a cool voice, making him less annoying than most of the characters in this game.

The girl I like got it, and is telling me to get it. At first I was saying "You bought a Transformers game!?" But now I'm definitely going to buy it. We'll be able to play together. Will be great. Does this game have splitscreen? I want to be able to play with my other friends too.

This has become a trend this gen, it sucks.

Oh god yes, what the fuck happened to split-screen? Not all my friends have an Xbox game devs!
