What is the game that gave you nightmares? The game that gives me nightmares is Splatterhouse. Sounds familiar?
Twisted metal 2... that fuckin' clown....

Barbie Horse Adventure, that one level was scary.

I lol'd when I saw it, then I ran.
Toy Story 2 for the N64. I just recently played it after a nostalgia attack from watching Toy Story 3 (Great movie by the way) and I had this dream that Zerg had locked me in a cell aboard a large plane and was flying me somewhere to be executed. It was one of those "No matter what you do you can't do anything" dreams.
It's not a scary game (Except for that Jack Hammer), but it was a really dreadful dream.
Red Dead Redemption.
[sp]After I beat the game and witnessed John's death, I had a dream about it afterwards and I was looking from Jack's point of view. It was sad :([/sp]
Also Cougars.
This motherfucker scared the shit out of me:
Doom. :ohdear:
I second this, bloody hell.

Literally.
Silent Hill 2 freaked me out the first time I played it
Penumbra.
It was actually my first time playing a first person shooter, Half Life 2 immediately followed by Episode 1 in long sittings.
Dead Space.
Also Dead Space. It really did.
Heart of Darkness and Resident Evil when I was 8-9 or something.
F.E.A.R. extraction point
Not so much a nightmare but an uneasy feeling. STALKER, lab X18.
You know like eyeing the door?
penumbra black plague, these dick monsters.
Resident Evil 1. The cover alone gave me nightmares. That was like, what, ten years ago?

That reminded me. I didn't like RE1 at a very small age. That resulted in sleepless nights. I literally was scared half to death that that thing would burst through my wall and explode.
Doom. :ohdear:
I played that at age 4 a few years after released. I thought I was blasting f-d up things, and it scared me to the end on easy. I jumped every time I shot an enemy.
Star Wars Galaxies

Yeah. I know what you mean... my first FPS was doom.
SWG isn't bad :(

Oh thank god i'm not the only one, my brother would play this constantly and i had to flip the cover upside because it scared the shit out of me.
Anyone have those memories of old genesis games? Splatterhouse? I really want to see if anyone other than me is scared of it. My heart skipped around several beats when I saw gameplay. The sound quality scared me the most.
Half-Life 1.
Yeah... that game scared me more than I thought it would. Especially in Xen. Those screwed up aliens...
SWG isn't bad :(
No it was a fantastic game before it was raped by CU/CU2/NGE I just seriously had nightmares about Squills once
I had a nightmare about condemned before i even played it >.>
I had nightmares from Alone in the Dark: A new nightmare. That shit was scary.
Also, I played RE1 all the time as a little one. I laughed at it mostly, except when my dad woke me and my mom up by turning up the volume to max and firing the shotgun at a wall.
Alien trilogy.
try playing it when you're four years old.
I was scared shitless of those aliens until only a couple years ago.
