So I downloaded the neotokyo installer, right? I run the installer. restart steam. nothing is in the game list. I have source sdk.and hl2, ep1,and ep2. Everything on my list is up to date. note: if this is in the wrong place please move it. this is my first thread.

Did you actually restart Steam or just close the window?
I quite liked the atmosphere and play style of the game... :frown:
NT is a great game, has a small community (unfortunately, it's a great mod that doesn't get the respect it deserves) and there's regularly a few servers with a decent amount of players to play with. So I'd say it's worth installing.
Neotokyo is possibly the best HL mod I've ever played, too bad the competitive scene died along with the rest of the community. Supposedly they were having talks with Valve about releasing onto steam, but the outlook looks grim.
I was going to play this, but there was no one playing on the server list, and it said I had the wrong map versions or something.
All the people saying NeoTokyo is crappy: suck a futuristic Japanese cyborg cock. It was an original game with entertaining gameplay. Worth installing.
It never got the attention it deserved after the initial rush. Such a shame, so much work was put in the mod.
